He also really loves to go to the local park and see all the older skater boys performing their shows. However, this was the first time I had heard him mention
Element Skateboards and I asked him to tell me a little more about them. When I quizzed him a little more thoroughly, it became apparent that he actually knew nothing about
Element Skateboards really. He had just heard his friends at school talking about them and decided that he wanted to own one for himself. Although I completely understand this desire to be the same as one`s friends that all young children go through, I am totally unsure how much to encourage it and really wonder whether I should just wait until his skateboard fascination ends rather than indulge him in his wishes. It is a tricky situation to be in but I feel secure in the knowledge that I am not the only parent to feel this way.
